Life Story for
Gloria T. Walsh
Gloria T. Walsh, 92, passed away peacefully Friday morning at St Luke’s Wood River Medical Center following complications from a fractured hip.
Gloria was born in New York on Sept. 20, 1922 where she was raised. She married her longtime love Thomas Henry Walsh, a Captain in the Air Force after WWII. They had a life filled with adventure, laughs and sorrows with many moves across the country. She most recently relocated to Idaho about four years ago. She lived in Twin Falls at Bridgeview Independent Living for a short time before relocating to Hailey’s Blaine Manor, now Safe Haven, to be close to her loving family. She has been under the loving care of the staff there for around 2 years.
While in Idaho she celebrated with family and friends enjoying birthdays and holidays. She is survived by her family: Nancy and Bill Resko, Willie, Jenna and Violet Resko, Erin and Benji Hill. She was a role model for many and had a tenacious spirit and love of life. She will be forever in our hearts.
An Idaho Celebration of Life will be held later this spring. She will have a graveside service with her family in New York this summer.
