Morris G. Stewart
Morris G. Stewart passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 15, 2015.
Morris was born on October 27, 1922 in Ivins, Idaho. After graduating from Burley High School, he was drafted and served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the war, he moved to Carey and met Carmen June Pyrah. They were married on August 12, 1954 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Morris worked as a pipefitter at the Atomic Energy Commission (INEL) for 21 years, retiring in 1984.
Morris enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved going on picnics, playing a good game of softball or horseshoes, and camping. He loved to laugh and never lost his sense of humor.
Morris is survived by his wife, Carmen; nine children, Jim (Cheri), Diane, Perry (Lana), June (John), Rick (Michelle), Marie, Dixee, Julie, Paul (Rocky), twenty five grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
