Violet "Vi" Sisiam
Violet Viola Sisiam (Vi), 92, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2016, at the Life Care Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Vi was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Ardell and Orean Richardson. On Sept. 15, 1941, she married Roy Sisiam of Bellevue, Idaho, at the Bellevue Community Church. Here Vi raised her family and lived for 75 years. Vi enjoyed music, camping, fishing, riding her bicycle, yard sales and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Vi is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Roy (Leslie) Sisiam Jr. of Greenwood, S.C. and grandsons Robin, Joseph and David Sisiam; Larry Sisiam of Fairfield and granddaughter Megan Brook; Debbie (Darrell) Gamble of Hayden, Idaho, and grandchildren Travis Pyle and Tara Swift; Rusty (Sandy) Sisiam of Clayton; and Todd (Judy) Sisiam of Hailey and grandchildren Toni Marcroft, Marina Schwarzbach, Samantha Kirscht and Lukus Sisiam; as well as her sister, Helen Watson of Twin Falls. She is survived by many great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Vi was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy Sisiam; her son Leslie Sisiam; and her parents.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Bellevue Cemetery at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 25, 2017. Urn interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vi’s name to the Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley.
