Sandra “Sandy” Ann Myers, a beautiful force of nature, passed away in the Wood River Valley at her home on September 23rd, 2025; surrounded by her family. Sandy was born and raised in Barstow, CA and relocated to Idaho at an early age. She spent most of her life in Ketchum. Sandy was a rodeo queen and an accomplished prima ballerina. She was also a seamstress/costumer and personal trainer. Most importantly, she was a mother, sister, grandmother, and a friend. Sandy craved adventure and refused to conform to social expectations. She lived life on her own terms while supporting and cherishing her family.
Sandy’s SkynTytes athletic wear has been worn by Olympic and college athletes. In retirement she sold dew rags at motorcycle rallies and in her younger years she developed and produced one-of-a-kind, reversible ski jackets called FrostBiters. In her spare time she rode with Camp Rainbow Gold, lead dance lessons, and adopted and fostered animals of all sorts. With Sandy's support and guidance, her children obtained advanced degrees and served their country, and her grandchildren have boundless possibilities due to their cherished grandmother.
Sandy will be missed beyond measure by friends and family alike, or “framily” as she called them. She joins her beloved parents, Bonnie and Joe Myers and her baby brother, Charles in the great beyond. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, JC & Jojo Myers, her sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Ernie Figler, her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Trang Myers, her daughter, Morgan Flach, and by her treasured grandchildren, Austen Myers-Flachson and Samantha Myers.
Sandy will be interred with her brother Charles at Mountain View Memorial Park (37067 Irwin Road, Barstow, CA 92311) on Monday, October the 20th, at 11:00 am. All are welcome for a simple service. Later this fall, there will be a Celebration of Life held for Sandy in the Wood River Valley.
