Life Story for
Michael Clark Root
Michael Clark Root passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2016 at age 70.
As a speed skater and avid skier, Mike moved to the Wood River Valley in 1965 and he still holds the record in the Diamond Sun. Mike was a general contractor and beautiful woodworker. He was very supportive to friends starting businesses as subcontractors in the industry. Mike was an outdoorsman who loved to golf, windsurf, fish and hunt. He loved camping in Cabo Pulmo Mexico.
He is survived by two children: Jon (Tiffany) and Alyssa and two grandchildren: Tyler and Jack. We are sad to have lost him so soon. Come celebrate his life: Sunday, May 1 at the Heagle City Park from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
