Dean Robert Rogers Jr., 89, a resident of the Bellevue area, passed away, Tuesday, July 17,2018 at the Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone, Idaho.

Dean was born September 16, 1928 in Gooding, Idaho. Dean was the oldest son of Dean R. Rogers Sr. and Florence Elizabeth Blakely Rogers. Dean spent his childhood years and attended school in Gooding, Idaho.

Dean married Julia (Judy) Grace White on February 28, 1945. From this union, they had two children; a son Dean R. Rogers III and a daughter Diana L. Rogers.

Dean is survived by his son (Dean), daughter (Diana) and three grandchildren; grandsons Dean R. Rogers IV and Daryl L. Rogers and a granddaughter Karalee K. Rogers-Goodrich (Ben Goodrich).

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings; a sister Mavis Rogers Dulleck and a brother O. Vernon Rogers, and his daughter-in-law Lois Kay Acheson Rogers.

Dean and his family farmed and raised livestock in both Gooding and Bellevue Idaho. In the early days he trailed cattle from Gooding to Bellevue for the summer and then back to Gooding for the winter later, Dean and his family moved from Gooding to the present address in the Bellevue area. Dean loved working outside especially if it involved working in the fields or working with cattle.

A family and friends time will be from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the Wood River Chapel, in Hailey Idaho.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Bellevue Cemetery, in Bellevue Idaho.
