Life Story for
Steven John Robertson
Steve John Robertson passed away on May 16, 2017 at age 63 in Hailey, Idaho, due to esophageal cancer. He was born on June 25, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI to Roger Robertson (Barbara) and Marjorie Jean Robertson (nee Christianson). He married Susan Robertson (nee Joyce) in 1997 at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay, WI. They have a daughter, Shannon. Steve also has two daughters, Laura and Amy, from a previous marriage.
Steve attended the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse for two years and, following that, attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1976. He joined the American Pharmacists Association in 1976 and remained a member for 41 years. After serving as a retail pharmacist for five years, Steve completed training in nuclear pharmacy and became a board certified Nuclear Pharmacist. He was employed in that capacity for 31 years by Syncor International/Cardinal Health. Steve was a lifelong resident of the Milwaukee, WI area until he moved with his wife Susan, daughter Shannon, and mother-in law Donna Joyce to the Wood River Valley in 2013.
Steve is survived by his wife, Susan Robertson of Hailey; his father, Roger Robertson (Barbara) of The Villages, FL; his daughter Laura Robertson of Hales Corners, WI; his daughter Amy Robertson and granddaughter Gabriela Figueroa of West Allis, WI; his daughter Shannon Robertson of Hailey; his mother-in-law Donna Joyce of Hailey; and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Jean Robertson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at the Fox Point Lutheran Church in Fox Point, WI. Interment in the historic Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
