Richard "Jake" Lee Provonsha, born on November 16, 1936, in a time that underscored simplicity and resilience, passed away peacefully at his home in Hailey, Idaho, on October 6, 2025. Surrounded by loving family, Jake’s last moments embodied the warmth and comfort he shared with those around him throughout his life.

Jake's journey was marked by a steadfast spirit and an unwavering commitment to his values. A man of integrity and passion, he embraced adventure and nurtured friendships that spanned a lifetime.  Those who had the privilege of knowing Jake will forever cherish his generous heart and keen wit.

Friends are invited to remember Jake starting at 11am until 6pm on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Wood River Chapel to celebrate a life well-lived, full of adventures and rich relationships. His legacy will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who called him friend and family, reminding us of the beautiful impact one person can have in the lives of many.
