Obituary for Tyrel Henry Peak

Our beloved son Tyrel was taken from us Sunday, September 5th in a tragic car accident in Muldoon Canyon east of Bellevue.
Tyrel was born at the Hailey Medical Clinic on November 28, 1988 to Gary and Judith Peak of Bellevue. After growing up in the valley and graduating from Wood River High School in 2007, Ty went to work in construction and became an accomplished cabinet maker and finish carpenter.
Tyrel loved the outdoors. His passions were snowboarding, dirt bike riding, camping, swimming, boating, and spending time with his friends, of which there are too many to count.
Ty's greatest passion in life, though, was his only child Hillarie.
He was a loving parent that doted on his daughter. From changing diapers to reading her stories at bed time, he never failed her. She was his world.
He was a wonderful son, grandson, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
His survivors include his daughter: Hillarie A. Peak of Bellevue; his father and mother: Gary B. & Judith A. Peak of Bellevue; his sister and brother-in-law:
Jennifer E. (Peak) & William D. Kerner and nephews: Talon, Ayden, & Garrett
Kerner currently of Darby, Montana; his grandparents: John & Jean Palmer also of
Darby, Montana; his uncle and aunt: John & Mandy Palmer of Houston, Texas; and his aunt Donna Standlee of Missoula, Montana as well as many other cousins and extended family.
Tyrel was preceded in death by his uncle: Gene C. Peak; great uncle: Danny
J. Peak; his grandparents: Henry "Sonny" C. Peak Jr. & Helen K. (Walton) Peak; and all of his great grandparents: Isabel & Elmer Johnson, Frank & Bessie Palmer,
Hazel & Henry Peak Sr., and Willis & Anna Walton.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Wood River Community Campus in the auditorium. There will also be a viewing held at Wood River Chapel Funeral Service on (today) Friday, September 10th between 1:00pm and 9:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Tyrel would have preferred a donation to his daughter
Hillarie's education savings account at Bank of America in Hailey.
