Bellevue, ID

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nancy Ruth Cobb Lupton, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Nancy passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026 in Bellevue, Idaho. She was born October 5, 1933 to Harold and Sarah Cobb. Nancy built a life full of love, family and caring. Her caring nature led her to pursue a degree in elementary education at Cornell College where she met Gary Clark Lupton, who she married on August 25, 1956. She became active in supporting her husband in YMCA activities as well as Rotary. Along with volunteering and lending a helping hand and loving smile to anyone who needed them; she enjoyed her years of teaching. She loved to tell stories about teaching in a one room school in rural Douglas, Wyoming. Nancy also had a passion for western history. You could often see her reading a book or collecting items about the Oregon Trail. Upon retirement Nancy and Clark spent their time enjoying the great outdoors while living in Mesa, Arizona and Estes Park, Colorado.

She gave generously through helping others, handwritten cards and the kind of listening that made people feel understood. Her family will remember her caring words and hugs that shaped their lives. Nancy leaves behind her son, Kevin Lupton (Peggy) of Hailey, ID and daughter, Kathreen Clouse of Loveland, CO. Her grand children Ashton Lupton-Dobson (Robbie), Kegan Lupton, Kelsey Wray and Kassidy Seay (Dustin) will all carry loving memories of her. She always had a big smile on her face when she got to see and hear about her great-grandchildren Quincy and Salem. Nancy has been reunited with her loved ones that passed before her Harold and Sarah Cobb (parents), Marty Cobb Brown(sister) and Gary Clark Lupton(husband).
