Robert Bruce McLeay McDonald
Robert Bruce McLeay McDonald, 91, died peacefully Monday, July 1, 2015 at the Bell Mountain Care Center in Bellevue.
Born February 19, 1924 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Donald McLeay and Ethel Maude (Lane) McDonald.
Bob grew up in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and graduated from Brantford Collegiate.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and hiking.
Robert served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons from 1942 until 1946, and married Mary Muriel Berrisford January 7, 1946.
He is survived by his wife Muriel of Bellevue and formerly of Twin Falls; two sons Robert (Debbie) McDonald of Hailey and Colin (Diane) of Auburn, California; a daughter Cathy (Bill) Moran of Catalina Island, California; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Cameron.
