Matthew E. Moran, beloved husband of Veronica and father of Matthew Ethan, left us too soon on Friday February 8, 2019. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen M. Moran, and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, along with their eight children. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Francisco Rojo, along with his seven children and 13 grandchildren, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James A. Moran and his mother-in-law, Maria Rojo.
Matthew will be forever missed. His dream of creating a safe and holy place to celebrate life will be his legacy. In his short 49 years, Matthew was a cherished son and brother, a loving and generous husband and father. Matthew was a 1987 graduate of Arch Bishop John Carroll high school Radnor Pa and Temple University. He enjoyed a dynamic career in the Pharmaceutical industry in California before relocating to Bellevue Idaho to pursue his dream of owning an organic farm. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Temple University in 1994, and later earned a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from University of Maryland in 2010 and later a Master of Business Administration in 2014, also from the University of Maryland. He worked his entire career in healthcare and most recently as a Pharmaceutical Executive. His entire family will always remember his abiding love of God, family and friends. Matthew was also the Executive Producer of the musical, “The Answer”, a play for the ages about life’s struggles and God’s compassion.
In the short time he has been in Idaho, he has transformed the Morningstar Farm into an organic and free-range chicken, turkey and sustainable fish environment.
