Life Story for
Kristy Nicole Kuntz
Kristy Nicole Kuntz, 35, passed away on Thursday, May 26 while surrounded by her loved ones, following complications from surgery.
Born on January 30, 1981, in Sun Valley, Idaho, Kristy was born and raised in the Wood River Valley, and chose to live her adult life here as well. She loved acting and singing, and she travelled to England on a study abroad experience as a University of Idaho student. Kristy also visited New York to experience and learn from as much live theater as she could. She enjoyed roles in shows throughout the Valley, and utilized her talent for working with children by creating children’s theater opportunities throughout the Valley, especially through St. Thomas Playhouse.
Kristy was a gifted listener. She loved scarves, pink Starbursts, her cats, and going to the movies. Her favorite things included the Goonies, her VW bug (affectionately named Lady), collecting pens, and especially, her TRIBE. She will be remembered most for her shining smile, her contagious laugh, and her incredible love for life.
Kristy is survived by her father James, her mother Larraine, her brother Matthew (Myra) her sister Jamie (Justin, Thomas 6, Timothy 4) and her sister Alexandria.
A Celebration of Life for Kristy Nicole Kuntz will be held on Sunday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. in Prospector Park at the Prospector Condominiums, Warm Springs (315 Ski Way). KK's TRIBE will gather to celebrate and remember the love, light and laughter that Kristy brought to each of our lives. You are invited to share a story or remembrance, or just listen.
Photos of Kristy may be emailed to keelyeliason@yahoo.com by Thursday, June 2nd. You may also include a memory or story (a book will be made for the family).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to St. Thomas Playhouse, an organization that Kristy held close to her heart, in memory of Kristy Nicole Kuntz (in the memo), P.O. Box 1070, Sun Valley, Idaho 83353.
