It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack Clayville, our beloved son, brother, and friend to so many. Jack died on May 3rd, 2026 in Cancun, Mexico at the young age of 25. Jack lived and loved life at a level that was breathtaking. He never wavered from his true selflessness, and those who knew him will always remember the way he showed up for everyone around him. We always know the only thing that would take Jack from us early, was a friend in need, and that is exactly what happened. Jack was electrocuted to death while attempting to save a friend from the same fate.
In his 25 years, Jack packed a lifetime’s worth of incredible memories. Though we didn’t have nearly enough time together, the love and joy he gave us will remain with us forever. He is now getting a chance to see his natural mother, Holly much earlier than his father Mike, his Stepmother Corry, his siblings Ben and Megan, his girlfriend Emily, or any of us could have ever imagined. Jack will be deeply missed by his family, friends and work colleagues and everyone whose lives he touched. Thank you Jack for every moment, we love you beyond words.
The memorial service for Jack Clayville was held at The Church of the Big Wood in Ketchum, Idaho on Friday, May 15th, at 10:00am. A Celebration of Life will also be held in Austin, Texas at Donn’s Depot on May 21st at 5:30pm.
