Anne Howes

Anne Teresa Howes died August 31, 2010. The daughter of Daniel and Cathleen Rooney,Terry was the last of eleven children. She moved to Hailey in the 30's and graduated from Hailey High School in 1943.
Terry worked as a telephone operator and a bar owner. She lived in Blaine Manor for 16 years and looked forward to going to the Senior Center to visit and reminisce with her past friends and is was very proud of her Irish roots.

Terry was an avid Catholic and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She married Russel “Shortie” Howe and they had two children Kathy and Patrick. Kathy died in 1975 due to a car accident, Pat died in 1998 of cancer. She loved children and loved for people to visit and always had a bingo prize or a handful of candy for any child that showed up.

Terry is survived by Dan Stone, Hailey, ID, nephew, Jack Stone, nephew (Linda Stone) Femly, N.V., Dorothy Baker; niece, Elko N.V., Patsy Tollbert, niece, Gooding, ID., Eissie Guisasola, Twin Falls, ID., Debbie Guisasola, niece Boise, Id., Michael Douglas, nephew, Bellevue, Id, numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was proceeded in death by her sisters, Susan Kobe, Mary Rooney, Kathleen Peterson,Cecelia Stone, Rose Baker, Ellen Guisasola, Bridget Rooney, brothers Mathew Rooney, John Rooney, Daniel Rooney.

A rosary will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, Hailey, Idaho at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday September 7, 2010 and Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 8, 2010 at St. Charles Catholic Church. There will be a reception at the Hailey Senior Center at 2:00 p.m.
