His extended family includes 2 more sons- Jerry & Jason; 3 more daughters-Chris, Tami and Jeanett and a grand total of 43 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren , 14 great, great grandchildren, 3 dogs, a goat, several ducks, roosters and hens . Ernie touched many lives and was loved deeply by all and we will miss him very much.
A poem Ernie enjoyed sharing:
The Cat in The Hat On Aging
I cannot see
I cannot pee
I cannot chew
I cannot screw
Oh my God, what can I do?
My memory shrinks
My hearing stinks
No sense of smell
I look like hell
My mood is bad -- can you tell?
My body's drooping
Have trouble pooping
The Golden Years have come at last
The Golden Years can kiss my ass
