Life Story for
Dennis Eli Foisy
Dennis Eli Foisy was born Aug. 11, 1950, in St. Paul, Alberta, Canada.
He was part of the Nal’ Wu Dus Koot-Kuiu Kwaan Nation and Attorney General Ambassador of the Tlingit AAni Kwaan Nation since 2005. He migrated slowly west to the Pacific Ocean, then south to Puget Sound, then East to Camas Prairie before landing in Hailey, Idaho, until his death May 23, 2015. He did specialty wood work for Gibson guitar production and spent 20 years in the business of building restaurants. He worked to help build business partnerships.
He gave lots of effort to help his new found friends in Blaine County. He loved food, music, travel, gold mines and especially his friends. Dennis was a good soul and will be missed by everyone’s hearts he touched.
