On New Year’s Day 2024, Elijah Oliver Lindley left his broken body on earth to go be with God in Heaven. He loved being outside more than anything else, and his passion for hunting, fishing, riding his dirt bike, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors drove all that he did.
He loved his family and friends big, and we are left with broken hearts but true joy that he is no longer hurting or suffering. There are not enough words to thank all of the people who have stood by Elijah and his family and continued to ask about him, visit, help care for him, and most of all, those who continued to pray for him over the last six and a half years since his accident. You mean more to us than you will ever know.
Please take the time to hug and tell those you love how important they are to you; Elijah was always the best at doing this. Head outside for a hunting or fishing trip, or a snowmobile or dirt bike ride in Elijah’s memory, as these are all the things he loved. This will help us remember our boy, the most loved in the world.
Of all the roads you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.
