Life Story for
Sally Marshall Cox
Sally Marshall Cox, 89, of Picabo, Idaho passed away December 20, 2015, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Robert “Bob” Turzian in Picabo.
Sally was born in Flint, Michigan on September 16, 1926. Sally was the third daughter of Dallas William and Edith Harden Marshall. In 1938, the family moved to California where she lived until moving to Picabo in 2009.
Sally married the love of her life, William “Bill” Paul Cox in 1947. In 1948, she graduated from UCLA where she majored in Art. Her passion, love and expertise was in watercolor painting.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bill; her “beloved” son, William “Chip” Marshall Cox; her parents Dallas and Edith; and her sisters Mary and Harriet.
Sally will be buried with her husband, Bill in California at the Riverside National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a gift in Sally’s memory can be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley.
