Constance Prescott McCabe

Constance Prescott McCabe was born on October 10, 1942 in Fresno, California to Phil and Wilma Prescott. She passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024 in Hailey, Idaho. Connie is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Jack, her sons Brian and Tom, her daughters-in-law Kristine and ChinaBlue, her grandchildren Katie, Mary, June and Jack, as well as her sisters Ann Nelson, Trudy Taylor and their families. She attended U.C. Davis, U.C. Berkeley and she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority.

 

Connie’s love of baseball, hiking, camping, and traveling began as a child and continued throughout her life. Connie and Jack raised their children in Oakland, California and spent the last thirty-five years living in Hailey, Idaho, where they have made many lasting friendships.  In Hailey, Connie was an active member of her book group, exercise group, and volunteered at many organizations throughout the valley. She loved the outdoors and could often be found hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
