They raised their family in the Napa Valley and later in Susanville. After they both retired they made their homes at Eagle Lake, California and Yuma, Arizona. As snow birds, mom said, “These were the golden years”. Having lost her eyesight she moved near her daughter in Hailey, Idaho for the remainder of her life.

A private memorial service was held for her at the home of Linda and Pete in Hailey, Idaho on June 3.
